DIGITAL DESIGN & MEDIA INTERN

We are ilumi & we need your help transform the ordinary into extraordinary

The digital design and media intern will work with the Marketing & Sales team to maintain a unified brand voice and help distribute content that educates and engages with our community as well as supporting our marketing goals. This position will execute the marketing digital strategy while maintaining a consistent brand voice through all communication channels, and monitor/engage on various social media platforms, generate copy and graphics for marketing collateral, email marketing campaigns, blog articles, and other tasks as needed.

We're looking for someone who can be a rockstar in the following:

• Participate in the development and execution of email campaigns which includes generating copy, necessary graphic assets.
• Assist Community Manager in building and executing a long term content editorial calendar and social media engagement strategy
• Write engaging weekly blog articles, utilizing SEO best practices
• Create engaging and high quality content to the company’s social media accounts 2-3x a day
• Create marketing collateral for ad hoc projects using Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Indesign)
• Edit and create support content for company support site including but not limited to troubleshooting articles, graphics, and tutorial videos
• Track the growth and impact of social media and email campaigns
• Maintain sales & marketing inventory

It would really be awesome if you have are:

• Pursuing or hold a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
• Strong communication skills with great attention to detail, and superior grammar skills - you must have proofread this job description and point out to us all the grammar mistakes we made!
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize time-sensitive assignments
• Detail-oriented, dependable, willingness to go the extra mile, and creative
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office
• Familiarity with any of the following: Facebook, Twitter, Google +, Instagram, Vine, Cyberdust, Youtube, Pinterest
• Working knowledge of HTML/CSS, Hootsuite, Google Analytics and social media analytics is highly desired but not required
• Enjoy any combination of Ping-Pong, Movies, Music, Sports, Cake, or brightly colored sunglasses
